Harold's Club was a staple of Reno's night life in Nevada for over 50 years. Often western-themed, with jokes aplenty, some would argue that Harold's peaked in the 1950s and 60s, right around the time they produced this poster.

The "Bankruptcy Barrel" was/is a widespread joke that once a man has sold even the shirt off his back, he'll have to resort to wearing a barrel–a bold joke for a casino to make to their customers.

11" x 14", vintage with some slight imperfections.

Frame not included, but one can be purchased right here (we'll even frame it for you).

The Vintage Section of Porchlight Design Co. is filled with design-focused goods from decades ago that continue to play a role in our own designs (and of course to help make our homes look and feel better).

Mid-century illustration and printed material influence a whole lot of what we do at Porchlight and mixing vintage with new, and high brow with, makes the kind of space we prefer.
