From Japan in the 1960s, the collection of Royal Pets by Shenshukai, was made by Kokeshi craftsmen in the style of modern Scandinavian figurines.
This Royal Pet is the Hippo, whose jaw moves up and down to reveal his very cute teeth and comes complete with original box and identification card inside. The figurine itself is approximately 4.5" long.
The figurine is in wonderful shape, with no flaws.
