Winter in Seattle on 35mm Film

Despite what you may have heard, weather here in Seattle is pretty moderate. From December through February, we've seen some brief snow, some brief sun and a good amount of gray. But winter in the Pacific Northwest is different for everyone—it can be filled with friends and family for some, lonely for others, a cozy time for layering all your jackets or a time to dream of summer. It can be hard, but there is a lot of beauty in Seattle every month of the year—even in January.

This set of photos was taken on walks around Downtown, Green Lake, Fremont, Elliott Bay, Seattle Center, Pioneer Square, North Seattle and even while warm at home.

All photos were taken across multiple rolls of Cinestill 400D and 800T film stocks.
