Katrina Noble is former Seattleite, graphic designer and print maker. Previously the University of Washington Press Art Director, she has created work for Oxford University Press, MIT Press, Girl Scouts of Western Washington and many others.

Her prints shown on our walls are reduction linocuts. They are made using a single block for each print, and with each color, more of the block is carved away, with the end result being a multi-color, multi-layer print with no way to reprint future editions, as carved away pieces are irretrievable. This process is incredibly tedious and makes each print that more special.

 

 

These framed pieces are available for pickup only.

These pieces come exactly as seen on the walls at Porchlight. Upon purchasing, you'll reserve yours, which you can pick up at the end of the show, towards the middle of February.
