Seattle isn’t a city often recognized for its mid-century architecture, but it still has some gems. Due to the many phases of progress since the 1962 World’s Fair, plenty of buildings have been demolished, while those left don’t necessarily have landmark status within reach. The hope of this project is to find the flattering angles of the underappreciated and tucked away apartment buildings, still-standing houses, and other mid-century structures in Western Washington while they’re still intact.
Inside Volume Five, you'll find one of Seattle's most beautiful mid-century neighborhoods, Dick's Drive-In, an Eastside bowling alley, and a whole lot more.
Included with Volume Five, is a silver 1" roller skate pin.
