Having grown up in Sacramento, Harry Bonath eventually made his way to Seattle in 1927.

After multiple stints as an art director, he opened his own studio-Harry Bonath & Associates, which he ran until his death in 1976.

His work has been shown across the country as well as locally at the Frye and Seattle Art Museum. One of his most notorious works is the poster design for the Seattle World's Fair (below).

Shown on our walls are three of his original ink drawings of Downtown Seattle from the 1970s.

Smith Tower: Ink Drawing of Smith Tower showing a couple walking. Signed by Harry Bonath, 1975

4th and Pike: Ink drawing from 1975 showing the original Pay N' Save and 4th Ave in Downtown Seattle. Signed by Harry Bonath, 1975.

Coliseum Theater: Ink Drawing looking down 5th Ave towards the Coliseum Theater, and the first Washington Plaza Hotel tower. Signed by Harry Bonath, 1975.

These framed pieces are available for pickup only.
