Vintage 1950s New York Apartment Sign

A great example of not only New York history, but design history as well. 

Using elegant typography, this 1950s paper poster/sign advertises apartments on the Upper East Side.

BUtterfield phone numbers were forever ingrained in many minds thanks to BUtterfield 8 the John O'Hara novel which was later turned into a film starring Elizabeth Taylor.
