The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway was planned for over thirty years before its completion, delayed by World War II, the Korean War and other unforeseen circumstances. Since opening in 1963, it has been considered a great feat of engineering and both its lower Valley Station and upper Mountain Station have been praised for their architecture.
Original mid-century posters depicting Palm Springs are extremely rare and almost never show up auctions or online. This is a rare chance to own a piece of Palm Springs' past.
This poster is in wonderful shape all around, but may show very slight signs of wear.
