In 1985, 135 designers were selected to showcase their work in the 'Images for Survival" exhibition at the Hiroshima Museum of Modern Art, commemorating the 40th anniversary of the bombing and the progress towards peace since made.
This poster was designed by Mark Oliver, showing a bomb breaking to reveal Matisse-style flowers inside.
Posters from this exhibition are quite rare and are scarcely seen in a retail setting.
